STRENGTH (OCR TRAINING)

In a Spartan Race you will have to carry chains, sandbags, lodges, atlas balls, buckets full of stones… You need to integrate resistance training in your workouts and work for those muscles because strength is a staple required in any race of any distance. Depending on the obstacle, the weight of the item to carry could be even up to 20kg for women (men carry an average of 10kgs more). Remember that the more effort you put during your training, the less you will suffer during the competition. (I am carrying a 24kg kettlebell in this video.)
